This Privacy Policy explains how the Aneesuk application ("the app", "we") handles information when you use its features: Prayer Times, Adhan, Quran, Hadith, Adhkar, Tasbih, Qibla, Ramadan Tools, Traveler Mode, Prayer Log, Nearby Mosques, Islamic Calendar, and Home-screen Widgets.

Our guiding principle is simple: the app is built to respect your privacy. We do not sell your personal data, and information stays on your device whenever it is technically possible.

1. Information We Collect

The app does not require an account and does not ask for your name, email, or any identifying profile information to function.

• Location data — used to calculate accurate prayer times, determine Qibla direction, and find nearby mosques.
• App settings & preferences — your chosen adhan voice, calculation method, language, theme, notification toggles, and prayer log entries.
• Approximate device locale & time zone — to present times and dates correctly.

2. How Location Is Used

• Location is used only for prayer-time calculation, Qibla direction, and the Nearby Mosques feature.
• It is processed on your device and/or sent to prayer-time and mapping providers solely to return the data you requested.
• The app does not continuously track your movements and does not build an advertising or location profile.
• You can disable location access at any time in your device settings; location-dependent features will then be limited.

3. Notifications

The app schedules local notifications on your device for adhan, pre-prayer reminders, the Pre-Fajr adhan, and optional reminders (Jumu'ah, Tahajjud, Adhkar, fasting days, Ramadan tools, and others). These notifications are generated and scheduled locally on your device. The app does not use a remote push-notification server and does not transmit your prayer activity for this purpose.

4. Third-Party Services

To provide its content, the app may request data from the following third-party providers. When it does, only the minimum technical request (such as coordinates or a content identifier) is sent:

• AlQuran Cloud — Quran text and recitation data.
• Hadith API — hadith collections.
• Adhan / prayer-time API — prayer-time calculation support.
• OpenStreetMap — map and nearby-mosque data.

These providers operate under their own privacy policies. We do not share identifying personal information with them beyond what is required to fulfill your request.

5. Data Storage

• Settings, preferences, and prayer-log entries are stored locally on your device.
• The app does not maintain a central database of users and does not upload your personal data to our own servers.
• Uninstalling the app removes locally stored app data from your device.

6. Children's Privacy

The app is suitable for general audiences and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. It does not require registration or personal details to use.

7. Your Rights & Choices

• Grant or revoke location permission at any time via device settings.
• Enable or disable any notification category within the app.
• Clear locally stored data by clearing app storage or uninstalling.

8. Changes to This Policy

This policy may be updated as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated revision date.
